We care about making games that benefit society. We want players lives to be better for having played our games. Together: Amna & Saif exemplifies the benefits that gaming can have on a relationship. It goes beyond having a conversation or doing something together. Interdependence is a key quality in a rewarding and successful relationship and Together allows you to experience and practice it in a tangible way.
I have come to a point in life where I no longer see money as an important thing. I decided I wanted to optimize for happiness. For me that meant autonomy and creative control in my work and more time for my family. I quit my job in March of 2013 to pursue those goals through indie game development. I realize that if I don't make money with my games I will have to go back to working for someone else for a time and I am fine with that. For more details about the decision to quit, there is an article linked at the bottom of this page.Indie
I have never been happier in my life since going indie. It is everything I wanted it to be. I began work on Together when I quit. A game that will soon be on kickstarter. As a side small side project I am creating a game titled Progeny. Both games communicate messages through gameplay that I think are important.

Why I quit my day job
I wrote this for family and friends before going indie. It turned the conversation to one of why to one of support and gratitude for inspiring them. blog.mountolymp.us.
